¡¤ The total population is 162.7 million (male 18.14 million / female 18.13 million), and the population density is 110.3 people / km2
¡¤ 98% of the ethnic groups are Bengal people, and other ethnic minorities such as Bihari and Chakma.
- Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) is home to 13 minority tribes (estimated to be 1.2 million ethnic minorities in Bangladesh) that preserve a unique culture.
¡¤ 1988. The Constitution defines Islam as a state religion through the 8th constitutional amendment in June, and about 88.4% of the people are Muslims, and other Hinduism, Buddhism, Christianity, etc.
- Islamic sects are Sunni, with more than 200,000 mosques nationwide (2, 000 in the capital, Dhaka), and the influence of Islam in political, economic, social and cultural areas.

¡¤ Due to the efforts of the Bangladesh government, the elementary school enrollment rate has increased since early 1990 and is now reaching 100%, but the overall education level is low.
¡¤ Curriculum consists of elementary school (5 years), middle school (3 years), lower high school (2 years), upper high school (2 years), and university (4 years).
¡¤ If a university passes the college entrance examination (HSC) at the same time as graduating from a high school (College), it is possible to enter a four-year university (Bachelor's)

¡¤ Bangladesh is a secular Muslim country or religious extremist group, and terrorist attacks on secular bloggers and foreigners have occurred since 2013.
¡¤ 22 people, including 18 foreigners, were killed in July 2016 when a hostage terror attack occurred at the Gulshan diplomatic complex.
¡¤ Also, there are frequent large-scale demonstrations, so special attention is required when staying in Bangladesh.
- In Korea's travel warning stage, Bangladesh is designated as a red alert (recommended withdrawal) for the Chittagong Hill Tracks region in the southeastern part of the country and yellow alert (restraint of travel) for other areas.

 
 

¡¤ Ricksha similar to a rickshaw and CNG of a green three-wheel motorcycle that runs in the same way as a taxi are available as major transportation means in downtown Dhaka, and the price is relatively low, but the price needs to be negotiated.
¡¤ Recently, car-sharing services have become a new means of transportation due to the perception that they are more convenient and safer than Rickshaw and CNG. Motorcycles and vehicles can be used through apps such as Uber and Pathao.
¡¤ Bangladesh is a country that has passed through wireless communication without going through wire and currently has four operators providing wireless communication services, and 150 million subscribers as of June 2018 since July 2013 when the number of subscribers exceeded 100 million.

- In July 2018, all four carriers launched 4G services at the same time, and the mobile payment market is growing rapidly.

 
 

¡¤ Newspapers are operated by 76 local language companies and 15 English companies, and the representative English daily newspapers are The Daily Star, The Independent, The Dhaka Tribune, etc.

¡¤ Tourist attractions have not been developed due to sluggish economic activities, lack of infrastructure, and underdevelopment since the independence of the colony. Recently, demand for eco-tourism has increased.
