To meet the goal, we, BBAK, will will increase size of members but not lose the average standard of quality to sustain our capacity to raise goodwill, friendship, and volunteer social activities
for multi cultural family community in Korea.
We completed registering the Chamber establishment as a non profit organization, and set the Chamber's head office in Pocheon Si, Gyeonggi Do, Korea. We, BBAK, have competent and
devoted charter members selected from a variety of industries of manufacturing, bank, law firm, retail trades, tax consulting and ex-governmental employee.
In response to the members' enthusiastic desire to set a trade mission, we are in a positiion to drive voluntary members to participate and share trade opportunity with traders and business
people of Bangladesh in the beginning of 2020 of which plan is of long postponement due to recent pandemic Covid 19 for the time being.
Bangladesh is a country of friendship to Korea ever since established a diplomatic relation in 1973, and has a similar national security issues to keep the nation safe and peaceful from long border line with
neighboring countries, and therefore they have relatively strong military capability to support UN PKO ARMY.
Bangladesh has surprisingly high population of 170 million people, the world's 8th largest in population asset. Though they have a lack of natural resources and industries, but they started to operate full
national power to develop the country and catch up with Korea's economic success model in the recent decade.
We, BBAK, will strongly participate in useful annual business exchange programs between two countries like trade show, business delegation and business show cases through which our Chamber members companies' would be able
to meet chance to start and lead to export and local investment.
I hope that this inauguration of Bangladesh Business Association in Korea, BBAK's home page will be a small but sure grain of wheat to contribute to growing up something between two countries.
Again, I appreciate to you all for being with us.
Mr. SangMin Woo, Ph.,D.
Chairman
